Nigeria and Central African Republic sue Group C campaign on Thursday evening in Surulere, Lagos as both nations seek first place in the group that would guarantee their ticket to the final round of CAF’s qualifying process for the Qatar World Cup 2022 Next year.

The other teams of group C, Liberia and Cape Verde are also in action, but it is Gernot Rohr’s “Super Eagles” who are the team sought to advance with two wins in their two opening games.

Thursday’s clash in Lagos will be the first competitive game between the two nations and with the “Wild Beasts” ranked 124 in the latest FIFA ranking (the “Super Eagles” are ranked 34), a home victory for the team. The Nigerian team is very much on the cards before the two sides meet again next week in Cameroon, after FIFA ruled that no field in CAR was suitable for a World Cup qualifier.
